Better Way to Sort Artwork in Your Portfolio
An easier way to re-order work in your portfolio.
Hi all - I just wanted to acknowledge this suggestion and to recognise that it's the most popular suggestion from the community. It's a challenging suggestion for us to implement at the moment - because the 'business case' behind the suggestion is not strong. I.e. it's unlikely that the work we put into this suggestion is going to pay for itself ... we have limited resources at the moment so ensuring that things pay for themselves is important. Having said that I'm going to try very hard to improve the business case behind this suggestion - to see if we can find a way to justify the investment required to build the extra software.

You can see what work you have in a group
Update 2 Feb: The way we're thinking about how to solve this first requires that we create a better way of organising work (see this suggestion: http://feedback.redbubble.com/forums/3434-feedback/suggestions/335549-better-way-to-sort-artwork-in-your-portfolio?ref=title ). So this improvement will have to wait until we build the better organizer ... realistically it's not likely that we'll be able to action the better organizer until Q2 2010 - so that would mean that the earliest that we could consider this suggestion in Q3 2010.

More Design Placement Options on T-Shirts
More options on where to place your design on shirts (eg. sleeve, back, multiple spots, etc.)
Status: startedUpdate 28 May: So we've had back printing for a couple of months now. We're probably not going to be able to add side printing or combinations of multiple printing options for at least the next few months.
Update 9 March: We've started work on this - something will be out in March.
Update 26 Feb 10: We're aiming to start work on this in the next couple of weeks - and plan to have our first option out in March.

Featured works are recognised with a note/badge
Featured works could display a small note or badge in the description area to show which featured galleries it is a part of
I think this is a great idea. We've been looking at a re-design of the our main image page for several months now and I'll include this in our thinking. No promises at this stage as to how things will turn out.

Allow bulk editing of artworks
I wanted to use the Bulk Editing option to hide some of my images and found that the option is not showing on my page anywhere that I can see, What has happened to it?
It was causing a nasty bug where for a small number of people it was deleting some of their work. The bug was difficult to track down so a decision was taken to remove the feature (it isn't a heavily used feature). If it has enough supporters we can look at rebuilding the feature.

Bulk Delete for Group Galleries
group moderators should have the ability to delete an entire page of gallery with a delete button rather than having to erase one image at a time.

Use My Earnings as RedBubble Credit
Earned money can be used as credit towards purchases on RedBubble
This is really hard to implement because of the accounting package we're currently using. It's probably at least three months away until we can consider looking at this.
We will look to have this in place by Oct / Nov this year. It will involve migrating to a new accounting package - which is a big job - but one that needs to be done.
Update 5 November: Things always take longer than you think ... so all of our new initiates have been delayed. At this stage I can't give a firm indication on the timing for this idea - but we still view it as important and something we'd like to do.
Update 2 February: Unfortunately in our recent road map planning this idea was bumped out of the current 100 day plan. I think it's still a great idea and I'll continue to advocate for it ... there's just so many great ideas!

Update BubbleSite
A paid version of RedBubble created with small businesses and professional artists in mind. Pro-account holders would have access to exclusive features such as SEO tools, domain name integration, more customization and branding of their bubblesite, more competitive base prices or volume discounts etc.
Status: under reviewThe BubbleSite is under review at the moment - and I would agree that the next iteration needs many of the features suggested here. The timing of any changes is yet to be determined.

The ability to recover / download your original artwork files
They ability for artists to retrieve the full size artwork files they have uploaded to RedBubble.

Cards in a Square Format
RedBubble should offer a square greeting card product
Update 2 Feb: Most of the cards on RedBubble are actually in 2:3 aspect ratio (the same aspect ratio as a DSLR camera). We're going to release our updated range of cards in this aspect ratio and see how they go ... if they take off and there's lots of additional feedback that square cards will also sell then we'd give this suggestion more consideration. But at this stage this is unlikely for implementation in the first half of 2010.

Show a Posting Date on Written Work
An un-editable upload date on written work. While this may not be legal proof of copyright, it would certainly help and show accurately when the work was first published on BedBubble.

Group Challenges Can Handle Ties
Group challenges should be able to manage cases where two or more entries receive the same number of votes.
We'll fix this. The person who understands this code is on leave at the moment, so the fix will need to wait until early June.
Update 28 June: It's still our intention to fix this as a priority - other things have got in the way (unfortunately). One of the team is heading off to Africa to do some volunteer work there and we're focused on completing a good handover of knowledge ... so a few jobs were bumped to allow for the handover and this was one of them.
Update 5 November: We've been a bit distracted but this idea is still an important one. At this stage it's something that we'd aim to get to in Q1 2010.

Categories
RedBubble should have categories to assist customers and browsers to find artwork
Status: startedUpdate 28 May: We have a prototype version of this in beta at the moment. I would imagine a gradual release of the new 'category' structure over the next four weeks.
It's going to be a big job to launch this - but we're planning to implement this over the next two months.
We're looking at this idea now for implementation in April - June time frame.
