RedBubble should sell books
Artists and writers should be able to create a book of their own work to sell through RedBubble. (Images & text)
If this service is offered in partnership with another site, the arrangement should not require artists to upload all their work to the partner site in order to make a book.
There was a very brief promotion with blurb.com before Christmas but this has since ended and has not resulted in a book product for RedBubble members.

Ive been waiting for this for years, it has been visited as an idea several times but nothing has ever happened come on Rb lets get the book idea rolling

Yeah... this is probably one of the best suggestions on here! Maybe something where you could hand-pick a bunch of favorites and have them printed up as a compilation would be nice. Even if it doesn't happen anytime soon, it would be great to see RedBubble lean toward making this suggestion produce fruit in the future.

Blurb and co are annoying to use! RB has such a brilliant marketing set up etc
But I agree there would need to be some major Format remodeling in our Writing sections in order to work effectively towards books.
But PLEASE!!!!!! RB Does everything so well and we can't really be an all round art community and NOT include writers with product to sell!

Definitely a brilliant idea!!! I was part of the pilot program with RB & Momento and it was a very rewarding experience to be able to compose my book of images and see the final result, being something tangible that you could both hold and be able to share around without just looking at something on a computer screen and live in cyber world!! I hope RB start to fast track this idea, especially with the books at an affordable price, so we can promote our work and the RB site more tangibly and increase the sales!!

Seems like a good idea. I myself might be interested in putting together a reltated series of visual art works, with possible writing, at some point. But I'd feel a lot better dealing with a publisher I knew and liked than trying to pick from myriad publishers I don't have experience with.

I agree.. Writers get a raw deal on RB. No challenges.. and no sales...
